Leucocyte

Leukocytes are a collective designation of various types of white blood cells, and each type of leukocyte is responsible for the functioning of another component of the defence system.
As a rule, white blood cells have the ability to fight against viruses, bacteria and other pathogens or particles, as well as tumor cells and all other foreign materials.
Thus, leukocyte count or function disorders result in impaired immunity.
