Differentiation

In multicellular organisms, there is a process of differentiation that makes the cells adapt to the role they are supposed to perform in the body. Although all the cells of the organism are equipped with the same gene equipment, only a part of the genetic information is realized in a particular cell (e.g. by the action of hormones, various growth factors). During the development of the organism, such differentiation is extremely important, since only fully developed tissues can fulfill their physiological role at 100%.
