Allergy

Antigens that provoke an allergic reaction are called allergens. Typical allergens include pollens, drugs, dust, hairs, bacteria, foods (wheat, nuts, milk, and many others), dyes and/or chemicals (e.g. latex and nickel).
Symptoms of allergic diseases may include red eyes, an itchy rash, sneezing, a runny nose, shortness of breath, or swelling. Allergic reactions can have immediate or delayed effects.
